Aston Martin DBR1 – Green

The Aston Martin DBR1 is a race car built for the 24 hours of Le Mans, which won the 1959 edition and is, to date, the only victory of Aston Martin in the event.

In 1956, with cars no longer required to be road legal to compete in endurance races, David Brown launched a project to replace the DB3S from scratch.

This racy car is very dynamic thanks to the asymmetry created by the unique backrest in the driver’s back.

This sculpture is a pure and stylized representation that evokes the primary purpose of the machine: speed.

In this painted finish, the sculpture is offered in a profusion of reflections that highlight its fluidity.
