Blades extending from the stern <strong>split the surface<\/strong> like stern waves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This representation by a succession of full and empty spaces produces a visual <strong>kinetic effect<\/strong> that gives <strong>an impression of movement<\/strong> of the work. The grooves dug in its base <strong>mimic the foam <\/strong>left by the ships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reminiscent of optical art, the work offers a different perception of the model depending on its point of observation. <strong>The tapered plates<\/strong> represent trails left by the wind on the bow of the boat. Its aggressive, protruding tips <strong>stand in<\/strong> <strong>stark <\/strong>contrast to the warm depth of the varnished <strong>rosewood <\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The mirror <strong>polished plates <\/strong>reflect their environment, the sculpture blends into its ecosystem like a chameleon.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The plates<strong> merge with the base<\/strong> until they appear as a single block. Its flat shape and its pointed <strong>stern <\/strong>are not without reminding a <strong>manta ray<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The feeling of <strong>acceleration <\/strong>is transmitted by the lifting of the structure from its base. It reflects like water which allows you to <strong>see the<\/strong> entire <strong>blade<\/strong> from below.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The mirror effect<\/strong> seems to enlarge the sculpture and splits it by its reflection.
