From January 28 to February 1\u1d49\u02b3, 2026, the R\u00e9tromobile show welcomes sculptor Antoine Dufilho to Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Visitors will be able to discover his creations, including two monumental works and several collectible sculptures including the Ferrari Daytona SP3<\/a>,Aston Martin DBS<\/a> and Lamborghini Revuelto<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n

R\u00e9tromobile: a showcase for automotive sculpture<\/h2>\n\n

R\u00e9tromobile remains the must-attend event for vintage and classic car enthusiasts. Every year, this Parisian show brings together collectors, dealers and enthusiasts from all over the world. For Antoine Dufilho, this event represents a privileged field of expression where his work meets a public particularly sensitive to automotive aesthetics. <\/p>\n\n

The artist made his first appearance at R\u00e9tromobile in 2023. He presented his monumental sculpture CAMELEON, inspired by the Porsche 910, as well as a monumental version of the Ferrari 330P4. His participation confirmed the public’s interest in his singular artistic approach. <\/p>\n\n

Porsche 911 Vitesse: the icon in motion<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

This year, Antoine Dufilho presented a sculpture inspired by the Porsche 911<\/strong>, one of the most emblematic models in automotive history. Through this work from his Vitesse<\/strong> series, the artist offers a sculptural interpretation of the speed, breath and tension that inhabit this legendary silhouette. <\/p>\n\n

Faithful to his artistic language, Antoine Dufilho works the material by sequencing metal plates to create a dialogue between solids and voids. This construction gives the sculpture a singular presence: immobile by nature, it nevertheless seems animated by continuous movement. Depending on the angle from which it is viewed, the Porsche 911 reveals itself differently, sometimes almost evanescent, sometimes fully asserted in its lines. <\/p>\n\n

With Porsche 911 Vitesse<\/strong>, the artist is not looking for a fixed reproduction, but a sensitive evocation of the automobile and what it evokes: collective memory, momentum, performance and emotion. The work captures all the visual power of the 911, while transposing it into a contemporary sculptural vocabulary. <\/p>\n\n

Ferrari Daytona SP3: a tribute to the prototypes of the 60s<\/h3>\n\n

The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is the third model of the Icona series. It pays homage to Ferrari’s racing successes of the 60s, particularly those of the 330 P4. It was this connection that inspired Antoine Dufilho to create this sculpture, as the lines of this Daytona are reminiscent of the prototypes of that era. <\/p>\n\n

From the ultra-wrap-around front fenders to the cut-out design of the rear, its unique look is reminiscent of Pininfarina’s 250 P5 prototype from the 1960s. The artist has paid particular attention to detail, notably on the front and side air intakes, as well as on the blades that make up the rear of the sculpture. <\/p>\n\n

Aston Martin DBS: British elegance in a Streamline version<\/h3>\n\n

To create his interpretation of theAston Martin DBS<\/a>, Antoine Dufilho drew inspiration from the car that made such an impression when it was unveiled at Blenheim Palace in 1967. Intended as the successor to the DB6, the DBS designed by William Towns stands out for its muscular profile and assertive front end. <\/p>\n\n

After a difficult commercial start, the arrival of the DBS-V8 in 1969, with its 5.3 V8 block, advanced suspension and ventilated discs, marked a turning point. This model enabled the DBS to assert its identity and become part of automotive history. <\/p>\n\n

The sculpture pays homage to the car by expressing its unique identity. In its Streamline version, it invites viewers to discover its timeless, classic, muscular and evocative allure. Made of stainless steel and aluminum, it measures 80 cm by 36 cm. <\/p>\n\n

Lamborghini Revuelto: the duality of tradition and innovation<\/h3>\n\n

The Lamborghini Revuelto<\/a> marks the brand’s entry into the hybrid era. The first electrified supercar from Sant’Agata, it combines a naturally-aspirated V12 with three electric motors, redefining the limits of performance with over 1,000 horsepower. <\/p>\n\n

In this sculpture, Antoine Dufilho wanted to capture the duality between tradition and innovation. The sharp lines unfold like longitudinal blades, evoking the energy of the original design. The surfaces fragment and recompose, creating a play of light and shadow that translates this metamorphosis towards electrification without compromising on pure emotion. <\/p>\n\n

A singular artistic career<\/h2>\n\n

Antoine Dufilho did not follow a conventional path to sculpture. His first introduction to the plastic arts came from his great-uncle, who was an actor, painter and sculptor. After studying medicine, he discovered the mechanics of the human body. After three years, he realized that this path would not allow him to express his creativity, even though it had taught him rigor. <\/p>\n\n

He then turned to architecture, graduating from the Lille School of Architecture and Landscape. This training transformed his approach to sculpture. He developed a passion for working with skeletal frameworks, which, once exposed, reveal a succession of solids and voids, bringing lightness and dynamism to the overall form. <\/p>\n\n

In the countryside around Lille, he built his studio out of shipping containers. Self-taught, he has been experimenting with different techniques such as molding and welding since 2012, when he devoted himself fully to his art. Represented in over 40 galleries, he exhibits in France and abroad. <\/p>\n\n
